Description

This article describes how to collect SnapCenter logs

The following are two data collection methods that are currently available for SnapCenter:

  • SnapGathers

SnapGathers performs a full data collection of SnapCenter Server, SnapCenter Plug-In hosts (that are registered with SnapCenter) when run on each of the respective servers.

  • Individual job logs

Every operation in SnapCenter has a unique job ID, which can be seen in the 'Monitor' section of the SnapCenter GUI. Each job ID has its own corresponding set of logs, which can be downloaded directly from the SnapCenter GUI
