Does SnapCenter Support TLS 1.3?

  • SnapCenter > 4.6 (SC)
  • SnapCenter Plug-ins > 4.6 (SC plugins)
  • Microsoft Operating Systems that support TLS1.3 (OS)

Answer

  • SC & SC Plug-ins support TLS 1.3 as long as the Microsoft OS support TLS 1.3
  • To enable TLS 1.3 you will need to be on Microsoft Server 2022 and all you workstations will need to be on Windows 11 (TLS is an OS supported feature)
  • Once you have upgraded all of your OS’s for Windows Workstations and Servers they will need to push out a group policy to enable TLS 1.3 with Strong Ciphers
