SnapCenter Plug-in for VMware vSphere (SCV) 5.0

Answer

Yes.

  • vsadmin is granted the following access by default that is required by SCV:
    • ontapi
    • http
    • ssh
  • The following actions are required to use vsadmin since it is locked by default.
    • Assign a password.
      security login password -username vsadmin -vserver <SVM>
    • Unlock it. 
      security login unlock -username vsadmin -vserver <SVM>
