Issue

  • ORASCPM backup fails with the error during the CG-Commit stage:

Creating Consistency Group Snapshot copy failed with error.SCC-STORAGE-01002: Creating consistency group Snapshot copy [<snapshot_name>] failed with error [CG commit failed for SVM: <SVM_FQDN>, reason: Failed to save the consistency group. Error:  Connection timed out

  • The timeout for the CG-Commit is set to 20 seconds (relaxed) is set in the C:\Program Files\NetApp\SMCore\SMCoreServiceHost.exe.Config file
