Issue

  • SCV backups fail after changing the vCenter administrator password at the discover resources stage.

ERROR spm1spc1 --- [       Thread-3] c.n.w.r.SCVBackupServiceImpl             : Unable to discover resources on SCV: Failed to discover entities in resource group [RG_name,RG_name,...] verify entities are available in vCenter
DEBUG spm1spc1 --- [       Thread-3] c.n.w.u.LogHelper                        : Exception in discover resources com.netapp.wfe.model.ApiException: Unable to discover resources on SCV: Failed to discover entities in resource group [RG_name,RG_name,...] verify entities are available in vCenter

  • Also unable to access the SCV management UI, get error:

Http failure response for https://SCV_IP8080/authenticate: 500 OK
