Is it possible to monitor the capacity of MDV volumes with Active IQ Unified Manager ?

Answer

No. Due to specifications, capacity of the staging volume (names starting with MDV_aud_) cannot be monitored by AIQUM.

Additional Information

  • It is possible to set a notification when "monitor.volume.nearlyFull" or "monitor.volume.full" occurs by using the event notification command and event filter command for the MDV volume.
  • AIQUM can be configured to notify when an ems event occurs on a cluster.
