Unable to Login to Active IQ Unified Manager (AIQUM) GUI After Enabling Remote Syslog Logging
  • Active IQ Unified Manager (AIQUM) all platforms
  • ONTAP 9.15.1P13 and similar versions
  • Environments using remote syslog logging over TLS (TCP port 6514)
  • Syslog servers configured to receive logs from AIQUM

Issue

After enabling remote syslog logging in AIQUM, users are unable to log in to the AIQUM web GUI. The login page remains stuck at the sign-in screen after entering credentials, though CLI login is successful.Log output:

2025-10-31 13:59:58,517 ERROR [io.undertow.request](default task-33) UT005023: Exception handling request to /login: java.lang.IllegalStateException: UT000021: Session already invalidated2025-09-30 17:49:20,455 ERROR [io.undertow.request](default task-34) UT005023: Exception handling request to /login: org.springframework.orm.hibernate5.HibernateOptimisticLockingFailureException: Batch update returned unexpected row count from update [0]; actual row count: 0; expected: 1; statement executed: update AuthorizationUnit...

Additionally, no errors are observed in the audit log configuration itself, but login remains non-functional.
