Unable to add cluster to AIQUM fails with "Unexpected HTTP response code:408" error

Issue

  • When attempting to add a cluster in Active IQ Unified Manager (AIQUM) an error appears stating:
"Unexpected HTTP response code received for security-certificate-install from XX.XX.XX.XX: 408" error.
  • Unable to ssh with cluster management IP.
  • The error reported in ocumserver.log is pointing to Unexpected HTTP response: 408 
ERROR [USERNAME] [default task-1774] [c.n.d.o.o.OntapMutualAuthenticationManager] Exception installing Mutual TLS certificate on ONTAP
com.netapp.autozapi.client.ApiProtocolException: Unexpected HTTP response code received for security-certificate-install from XX.XX.XX.XX: 408
 
ERROR [USERNAME] [default task-1774] [c.n.o.r.m.e.GlobalExceptionHandler] Unexpected HTTP response code received for security-certificate-install from XX.XX.XX.XX: 408
com.netapp.ocf.rest.mvc.exceptions.HttpInternalServerException: Unexpected HTTP response code received for security-certificate-install from XX.XX.XX.XX: 408
at deployment.dfm-app.war//com.netapp.ocf.rest.core.services.DataSourceService.addDataSource(DataSourceService.java:225)
  • From the cluster side audit & apache error logs shows an error similar to above:
