  • The underlying architecture for an ONTAP S3 bucket is a FlexGroup volume—​a single namespace that is made up of multiple constituent member volumes but is managed as a single volume.
  • A FlexGroup can be monitored by UM, but with a limited functionality.
  • Bucket sizing information can be seen via CLI command.
