Issue

  • AIQUM is not able to add a new cluster when cloud agent is enabled
  • Event log:

[Cluster-01: mgwd: mhost.ca.connect.cert.error:error]: Cluster agent connection: UnifiedManager_<UUID> has failed due to certificate error. Error: Certificate error: host verification failed..
[Cluster-01: mgwd: mhost.ca.connect.failure:error]: Cluster agent connection of the client: UnifiedManager_<UUID> is not healthy. Attempting to reconnect. Error: Certificate error: host verification failed..

  • In AIQUM's server_acq.log:

2025-01-15 11:01:52,631 ERROR [default task-49] c.n.s.a.s.r.s.i.AcquisitionFacadeSessionServiceImpl (AcquisitionFacadeSessionServiceImpl.java:842) - Fail to add data source for acquisitionUnitName: local, dataSourceName: Cluster-01, vendor:NetApp OCI Essentials, model: NetApp OCI Essentials, datasourceTypeId: 91, manual: 1, isActive: false, attrs: -- listing properties --

: java.lang.RuntimeException: java.lang.RuntimeException: java.lang.RuntimeException: Failed to establish connection for cloud agent instance "UnifiedManager_<UUID>". Reason: Certificate error: host verification failed

  • In AIQUM's server.log: 

Unable to add cluster data source. This can occur if the clocks on the systems are not synchronized and the Active IQ Unified Manager HTTPS certificate start date  is later than the date on the cluster, or if the cluster has reached the  maximum number of EMS notification destinations
