AIQUM MySQL database restore to a new configuration fails due to space issues

Issue

  • AIQUM restore in a new VM fails with the following error:
    • ERROR [Active IQ UM] [restore] [restore.sh] Restore Failed : Failed to extract the database dump repository file /data/ocum-backup/database-dumps-repo/ocum_mysql_incremental_backup_11111111111111.sql.7z
    • INFO [Active IQ UM] [restore] [restore.sh] Number of Backup files: 24 ERROR 1114 (HY000) at line 38592: The table 'sample_qos_workload_detail_620108' is full 2025-07-23-15-44-02,746 ERROR [Active IQ UM] [restore] [restore.sh] Failed to restore the Database dump
    • xargs: cat: terminated by signal 13
      ERROR [Active IQ UM] [restore] [restore.sh] Failed to restore the Database dump
  • AIQUM status becomes Not running
  • mysql/error.log keeps detecting "No space left on device" then SHUTDOWN

  • acquisition/au.log indicates HTTP 503 error

ERROR [main] c.o.s.a.f.m.CommunicationManager (CommunicationManager.java:561) -  - Failed to get Summary SessionServer returned HTTP status 503. java.lang.RuntimeException: Server returned HTTP status 503.
