Issue

After the data disk is increased in VMware vSphere (Hard Disk 2 or Hard Disk 3, whichever is larger), Increase Data Disk Size in the Active IQ Unified Manager maintenance console does not grow "/data".
The procedure completes and reports that the data disk size could not be increased, and that the disk must be increased in the vSphere Client first. The vSphere size is already
larger than what the guest OS and "/data" show.
This occurs when the virtual disk is expanded while the VM is powered on, which is the documented procedure.
