Issue

  • Active IQ Unified Manager (AIQUM) 9.18P2 receives the ONTAP EMS event callhome.arw.activity.seen but does not create the Ransomware activities detected event
  • The event does not appear under Events / Event Management in the AIQUM UI
  • Not seen on AIQUM 9.18 GA
  • ocumserver.log shows a failure while creating the event:

org.hibernate.LazyInitializationException: Could not initialize proxy [com.netapp.dfm.entity.inventory.ontap.fas.Vserver#...] - no session
at com.netapp.dfm.entity.platform.event.EventEntityManager.createAndSaveEvent(...)
