Issue

  • CommVault(CV) Auxcopy job is failing with NullPointerException (NPE)
  • Issue is seen with REST API collection in AIQUM 9.14 and above with Cloud Agent (CLAG) enabled
  • This is for volumes where SIS is enabled
  • AIQUM is unable to get inline compression details and sets a NPE though the destination volume is created
  • Error:

[c.n.dfm.collector.OcieJmsListener] Inventory change listener error
java.lang.NullPointerException: null

  • CV doesnt get confirmation on the destination, continuosly retry and get error from AIQUM as 
    snapmirror relations already exist
