Issue

  • Cluster Monitoring Failed events in Active IQ Unified Manager (AIQUM) 9.14 are triggered intermittently after upgrading ONTAP to 9.15.1 or 9.15.1P1
  • au.log shows some ZAPI failures with end of file:
    WARN [foundation-poll-1] c.o.s.a.d.n.t.z.ZAPIConnection (ZAPIConnection.java:619) - [netappfoundation] <CLUSTER IP> - while executing ZAPIs on datasource: <CLUSTER IP> IP: <CLUSTER IP> for ZAPI: <ZAPI>, java.io.EOFException: Encountered EOF at 78202/86176 bytes java.io.EOFException: Encountered EOF at 78202/86176 bytes
    at netapp.manage.http.HTTPMessage.readContents(Unknown Source) ~[manageontap.jar:?]
    at netapp.manage.http.HTTPResponse.read(Unknown Source) ~[manageontap.jar:?]

  • The solution in Cluster acquisition fails in AIQUM due to expired CA certificate for Mutual TLS communication does not resolve the issue
