  • ONTAP 9
  • AI PMBTA results

Description

PMBTA currently processes panic messages and backtraces against known regex patterns and returns a result code.

What's new: When PMBTA returns code 0 (no match), an AI layer now performs an additional check.

  • It compares the panic message against historical bug data to try and identify a matching defect.
  • If it finds a potential match, the bug details are returned alongside the standard PMBTA output.

Note: An AI match is a lead, not a confirmed diagnosis. It means the AI found a bug that could be related — it still requires TSE validation before any customer communication.
