Description

  • Starting in Clustered Data ONTAP 8.3.1 and later, cluster shell commands are run to configure Netapp Storage Encryption (NSE).
  • Prior node shell commands used in ONTAP 8.3 to manage encryption are NO LONGER supported.  
  • If node level commands are used then undesirable results, including permanent data lock-out may occur.
