Altavault reports "Nearing pinning threshold"

Issue

  • Following Alarms were observed on Altavault home page:

Appliance Health: Degraded.
Max Pinnabel Limit: Degraded.

  • AVA reports following error:

Nearing pinning threshold. Once the threshold is reached, further writes to pinned shares are blocked until either space is cleared from the pinned shares or the threshold is extended.

  • Any writes to the Altavault will fail with disk full error.
