Issue

  • Data Classification displays the file name, file type, but no file owner is displayed in the UI.

Cause

  • The files missing file owner entries are of unsupported file types.

Solution

  • When Data Classification detects Personal Identifiable Information (PII) or when it performs a DSAR search, only certain file formats are supported.
  • Classification currently doesn't display a file owner for NFS files, although there is an open request to support this in a future feature.
