Yes, removing permissions on c$ share can cause access issues to users with administrative privileges

Note :

  • The c$ share is an administrative share that the cluster or SVM administrator can use to access and manage the SVM root volume.

  • While it is technically possible to remove or modify permissions for this share, it is generally not recommended as it can affect system functionality and remote management capabilities.
