Issue

When triggering an ONTAP upgrade on a single node CVO, the ASUPs show the upgrade performed, then repeated multiple times to the same target ONTAP version

Cause

  • Cause unknown. In the originating case, the customer triggered three separate single node CVO upgrades within minutes of each other
  • All three experienced this issue, and all three recovered as described in the Solution section

Solution

This issue resolved itself after upgrading between two and three times in succession.
