Yes, AWS CloudWatch can be used to monitor CVO system issues.
  • There are multiple default CloudWatch metrics available for monitoring EC2 instances, "Status check failed: either" metric can indicate issues with the instance's system or network status.
  • It is possible to set up CloudWatch to monitor this metric and create CloudWatch Alarms to notify the user or trigger actions such as reboot CVO.
