  • ONTAP 9

Issue

  • When attempting to access a Cloud Volumes ONTAP cluster deployed in Microsoft Azure, the cluster management LIF (cluster_mgmt) is inaccessible via SSH or System Manager.
  • CIFS shares are unavailable to all users.
  • The affected SVM is configured with only one DNS server, which is not reachable due to internal maintenance, resulting in loss of network connectivity to management and CIFS LIFs.
