Issue
CVO registration to NetApp Support site from Cloud Manager disappears.
Cause
Unknown due to no logs available during issue.
Solution
Remove working environment (CVO) and re-discover the working environment into the Cloud Manager.
Additional Information
- Registering CVO to NetApp Support site during creation (for BYOL) or once created (for Pay Go).
- CVO is unregistered from support site only on delete of the instance, not on power off etc.,
Internal Notes
- The customer here used a script to create and deploy a CVO instance and mentioned script as successful.
- They could not provide Cloud Manager logs during instance creation or registration to find out the root cause.
- Every night the CVO is powered on and then turned off after a snapmirror update again using scripts.
- The issue did not recur after rediscovery of the CVO in Cloud Manager.
