Issue

Bluexp is not displaying the cluster information even though the CVO is in a healthy state

Cause

  • CVO versions 9.7 or earlier are not displaying the cluster information in BlueXP.
  • This is due to the images no longer being on the manifest as they are outdated versions.
  • "Upgrade now!" is button is not available.Cluster information.png

Solution

  • Upgrade Cloud Volumes ONTAP to ONTAP 9.8 or later to resolve the issue.
  • Since the button "Upgrade now!" is grayed out, it is necessary to Upgrade using a URL. Make sure to use the latest P release.

1. In BlueXP, enter the working environment you want to upgrade

2. On the top right corner click the "3 dots" and select upgrade ONTAP. This will take you to the upgrade menu.

Internal Notes

In some cases, the option to upgrade via URL might fail. If there is no other option, consult with an EE about the possibility of upgrading using System Manager.
