Issue

  • Error showing in the Load Balancer in Azure Dashboard :
    • "Degraded" some of your load balancing endpoints may be unavailable . Please see the metrics blade for availability information and troubleshoot steps

Cause

NSG rules were misconfigured causing a DENY rules to supersede ALLOW rules.

Solution

Ensure Azure NSG is configured to properly allow the Load Balancer to receive traffic. If issue persists contact Micrsoft Azure support to investigate further.
