Issue

  • Nodes in HA-Pair not able to communicate with each other
  • EMS logs shows below error:
    callhome.clus.net.degraded: Call home for CLUSTER NETWORK DEGRADED: Total Packet Loss - Ping failures detected between <cluster_lif> ( <IP> ) on <node> and <cluster_lif> ( <IP ) on <node>
    vifmgr.cluscheck.droppedall: Total packet loss when pinging from cluster lif <lif> (node <node_name>) to cluster lif <lif> (node node_name>).

Cause

New denial policy added to the NSG which stopped the communication between the nodes

Solution

Revert the changes made on NSG which having denial rule to the another Node
