NetApp Console Agent disconnecting intermittenly due to Proxy

Issue

Standard mode cloud deployment Agent keep going disconnected state intermittently.

Cause

Required endpoints are not whitelisted in Proxy configuration.

Solution

  • The Console agent requires a network connection for day-to-day use of the Console.
  • Ensure required endpoints Fully Qualified Domain Names (FQDNs) are whitelisted instead of the IP addresses of endpoints, as the IPs are dynamic.

Example : https://api.bluexp.netapp.com - (FQDNs)

Internal Notes

The connector communicates to the SaaS endpoint (https://api.bluexp.netapp.com) every 10 seconds interval. If it encounters any connectivity issue, the connector becomes inactive.
