Issue
Mediator is not showing in the BlueXP UI when clicking in HA status or when trying to edit route tables.
Cause
The CVO instances in AWS don't have the same name as in BlueXP. At some point, these instances were renamed on the AWS side and BlueXP was not reading them correctly in the UI. Renaming the instances in the AWS is not supported.
Solution
- Open BlueXP, find the CVO that is not showing the mediator, and enter the working environment.
- In the overview tab, click on HA status.
- Find the instance names for both of the nodes
- Go to the AWS portal and compare the instance names shown in BlueXP and the console.
- If they are different they would need to be modified to match the name in BlueXP
- After editing the names in AWS, go back to BlueXP and verify that the mediator is now showing.
