Description

This KB describes the standard procedure to decommission a NetApp Console agent VM.

Procedure

  1. Stop the NetApp Console agent VM from your Cloud provided console or on-premises environment
  2. Delete the NetApp Console agent VM from your Cloud provider console or on-premises environment
  3. Remove Console agents from the Console

Additional Information

  • In the event it's needed to replace the existing NetApp Console agent with a new agent, check how to replace a NetApp Console agent.
  • In an environment where a single CVO is monitored by multiple agents, stopping one agent as described in this KB has no operational impact.
