Issue

Getting the following error while trying to update CVO Admin password from Console Agent

Error: Failed to update ONTAP credentials. Request contains invalid parameters.

Cause

The password contains one of more special characters known to result in failure to update the CVO credentials.​​​​​​

Solution

Do not use special characters the following special characters in the admin password.
/ ( ) { } [ ] # : % " ?
