Failed to discover GCNV Working Environment

Issue

BlueXP fails to discover GCNV Working Environment with error : "The caller does not have sufficient permissions to perform the operation."

Cause

BlueXP user does not have the application role Google Cloud NetApp Volumes admin

Solution

  1. In the upper right of the BlueXP console, select The settings icon which displays in the top right of the BlueXP web console. > Identity & Access Management.

  2. Select Members and naviate to your BlueXP user.

  3. Click on the three dots and select Add a role.

  4. Select a project under your BlueXP organisation and choose category as Application.

  5. Add the role Google Cloud NetApp Volumes admin and save.

  6. Try discovering the GCNV environment.
