Applies to

  • NetApp Cloud Volumes ONTAP (CVO) for AWS
  • BlueXP Usage Reporting
  • ONTAP 9.15.1P14 and later

Issue

Customers may observe that the consumed capacity reported in CVO-Package-Usage.csv (billing report) does not match the values shown in Storage-VMs-Usage.csv (usage report) for the same Cloud Volumes ONTAP working environment.

Cause

The Cloud Volumes ONTAP working environment was registered under two different NetApp accounts, leading to duplicate Storage Virtual Machine (SVM) rows in Storage-VMs-Usage.csv. This is a display bug in the usage report only. The authoritative billing report (CVO-Package-Usage.csv) is not affected, and actual billing is based on correct usage data. No overcharges are incurred.

Solution

Issue is fixed in NetApp console releases 4.5.0 and above.
