Issue

  • Performing a cinder retype of a "in-use" volume fails with the following error:

2023-05-11 15:15:53.248 1002758 ERROR cinder.volume.manager keystoneauth1.exceptions.http.BadRequest: Expecting to find domain in project. The server could not comply with the request since it is either malformed or otherwise incorrect. The client is assumed to be in error. (HTTP 400) (Request-ID: req-92123456-abcd-4567-9999-630b7abcdefg)

  • Performing a cinder retype of a "available" volume is successful.
