Issue

  • CVO Auto Support logs report the following errors:

Mon Sep 16 19:38:54 -0400 [cluster-01: mgwd: cpeer.unavailable:alert]: Peer cluster <cluster name> is no longer available.

Thu Sep 12 12:12:27 -0400 [cluster-01: spmd: spm.mgwd.process.exit:EMERGENCY]: Management Gateway (mgwd) subsystem with ID 4214 exited as a result of signal normal exit (0). The subsystem will attempt to restart.

  • These errors are seen because there are duplicate certificates on the node.
  • These duplicate certificates have the same serial number but a different FQDN.
  • This can be verified using the CERTIFICATE.XML section of the CVO ASUPs
