Can we delete the Resource Groups and Storage Account of a Decommissioned CVO System

Last Updated:

Applies to

  • Cloud Volumes ONTAP (CVO)
  • Microsoft Azure
  • BlueXP

  • All resources including Resource Groups, Storage Accounts that are associated with the CVO system can be manually deleted from the Cloud Provider end if they are left over after decommissioning the CVO. This situation arises when the CVO system is directly deleted from the Cloud Provider portal.
  • The recommended practice is to delete the CVO system from the BlueXP, which automatically deletes all the resources, disks and snapshots associated with it.
