Azure CVO FlexCache volume is suddenly unavailable

Issue

  • Clients are reporting FlexCache volumes using NFSv3 shares are no longer available that are accessed from CVO.
  • ONTAP EMS logs report the following before the the FlexCache volume goes unavailable 
    [?] Sat Jun 18 07:54:36 -0400 [myNode-01: kernel: csm.connectionFailed:debug]: CSM failed to create a connection: localBladeUUID = myNode-01:dblade, remoteBladeUUID = d168f2b4-8b89-11eb-a885-d039ea2616d9, uniquifier = 1105e1b78571d238, transportType = INVALID,localVifId = 1025, remoteVifIP = 10.180.130.10, CsmError = CSM_CONNABORTED, ctLoError = CTLOPCP_ERR_UNKNOWN, socketError = 1, and TLSerror = 2113929249.
