Answer

  • The error [ERR] [License Validation] Exception while connecting to the storage when retrieving license infomation, implies the LMS server can not reach the NetApp Licensing tables.
  • If using a proxy server in your environment, verify the LMS server has unrestricted access to the following url's.

https://talonazuremicroservices.azurewebsites.net

https://talonlicensing.table.core.windows.net

Additional Information

  • If the LMS server is unable to reach the azure licensing tables, the Edges will enter a grace period of 7 days, where they will continue to function.
  • After the 7 day grace period the Edges will stop functioning.
