Data Broker is offline and seeing error failed to start PM2 process manager

Issue

  • Data Broker shows offline after a patch upgrade on the cloud Linux machine where the broker is installed.
  • Sync status shows "In progress" but is it stuck at 99%.

Data Broker is offline and seeing error failed to start PM2 process manager

  • PM2 status command returns "command not found" error.

[root@opdb1 ~]# pm2 status
-bash: pm2: command not found

  • Also, seeing "failed to start PM2 process manager" error when running systemctl status pm2-root.services command.

Failed to start PM2 process manager

  • ehostdown: Host is down error message seen in sync failures list for that relationship and copy is failed.
