Applies to

  • Azure NetApp Files
  • ONTAP 9

Issue

  • Various issues could occur from the /var directory filling up such as the node going down, updated certificates not being able to write, and more
  • In prior instances, giveback was unable to proceed due to inability to contact the object-store when validating certificates
    •  storage aggregate object-store profiler start -node node-01 -object-store-name obj-store-server

Warning: Object store profiler tests the connection to the object store and is not reflective of FabricPool PUT throughput at steady state.

Error: command failed: Initializing the object store profiler on node "node-01" for object store "obj-store-server" failed. Reason: Cannot verify the certificate given by the object store server. It is possible that the certificate has not been installed on the cluster. Use the 'security certificate install -type server-ca' command to install it. Wait a few minutes and try the command again.
