Unable to mount iSCSI volumes

Issue

The pod can't mount the iSCSI volume, giving the error:
 
Warning  FailedMount 10s (x6 over 26s)  kubelet MountVolume.MountDevice failed for volume "<PVC name>" : rpc error: code = Internal desc = rpc error: code = Internal desc = failed to stage volume: multipathd is not running
