Trident Windows worker node pod in CrashLoopBackoff status after reboot

Issue

  • Trident Windows worker node pod is stuck in a CrashLoopBackoff status after a reboot of the Windows host.
  • After the reboot, the Windows host is able to connect to the SMB share and create and modify files.
  • The Trident node logs show volume tracking file for the volume is failing to be validated:
