Trident RWX PVC can't be mounted in a worker node and getting error "error saving volume publication record"

Issue

  • Trident RWX PVC can be properly mounted from pods running in different worker nodes
  • But the same PV can't be mounted from a pod running in one specific worker node and getting the error:

IMMDD hh:mm:ss       1 csi_handler.go:335] PV finalizer is already set on "pvc-xxxxxxxx-yyyy-zzzz-vvvv-xyxyxyxyxyzz"
IMMDD hh:mm:ss       1 connection.go:187] GRPC error: rpc error: code = Internal desc = error saving volume publication record
IMMDD hh:mm:ss       1 csi_handler.go:591] Saving attach error to "csi-xxxxxxxxxxyyyyyyyyyyyzzzzzzzzz"
