Trident Protect not deleting snapshots in storage

Issue

  • Trident Protect is not deleting snapshots according to the retention set in the snapshotspec in ONTAP but OCP/K8s shows that they have been removed in Kubernetes.
  • This usually happens after the promotion of the mirror, when Snapshots are going to be created on what was the destination of the mirror, and the Snapshots that remain are the ones that were mirror treansferred on that side.
