TridentBackendConfig can't be removed from RedHat OpenShift cluster as it is in Deleting status

Issue

When trying to delete a TridentBackendConfig it fails with the following error, visible in the trident-controller log file:

Backend is in a deleting state, cannot proceed with the TridentBackendConfig deletion. Re-adding this work item back to the queue
