Issue

The OpenShift cluster, utilizing Trident version 26.02.1 with the ONTAP-NAS backend (ONTAP version 9.15.1P12), is experiencing consistently elevated volume mount latency during pod start-up.
The NodePublishVolume step averages ~205ms (with kubelet volume_mount averaging 225–248ms and p99 at ~480ms). The latency is isolated to the NodePublishVolume step and is consistent across ~2.7 million CSI operations and over 55 days of cluster operation.
