PVCs can't be properly mounted in worker nodes

Issue

When deploying an application which mounts a PVC, the mount fails with the following error:

 MountVolume.SetUp failed for volume "pvc-xxxxxxxx-yyyy-zzzz-xxxx-xyxyxyzyzyzy" : rpc error: code = Internal desc = error mounting NFS volume XX.YY.ZZ.YY:/test_pvc_zyxzzyxzy_xxxx_yyyy_zzzz_zxyzxyzxyzxy on mountpoint /var/lib/kubelet/pods/yyyyzzzz-yxyx-zyzy-xzxz-zxyzxyzxyzxy/volumes/kubernetes.io~csi/pvc-zyxzzyxzy-xxxx-yyyy-zzzz-zxyzxyzxyzxy/mount: exit status 32
