Applies to

  • Kuberenetes (k8s) 1.21 - 1.25
  • Trident 23.01 and above
  • Trident operator based installation
  • Pod security policy (PSP)

Answer

  • Kubernetes PSP has been deprecated from the version 1.21 and unavailable from version 1.25 and above.
  • Not Necessary to delete the Trident PSP explicitly. If the trident version 23.01 or newer running in kuberenetes cluster and upgrade kuberenetes to 1.25, the operator will recognize the change and remove the use of the Pod Security Policies (PSP) that it was previously using.
