Switch port in persistently Disabled state due to duplicate WWPN errors on Brocade switch

Issue

  • A port is persistently disabled when FLOGI request with duplicate WWPN is received.
  • In the error dump, the FCPH-1003 message is recorded as shown below:

2022/03/16-17:56:47, [FCPH-1003], 638281, SLOT 2 | FID 128, WARNING, FAB2, Logging out new port 10/20 with same Port WWN [50:05:07:60:44:5c:af:0a] as old port 11/20[pid:68e440] due to duplicate Port WWN detection policy.
2022/03/16-17:56:54, [FCPH-1003], 638282, SLOT 2 | FID 128, WARNING, FAB2, Logging out new port 11/21 with same Port WWN [50:05:07:60:44:5c:af:0b] as old port 12/20[pid:68f440] due to duplicate Port WWN detection policy.
2022/03/16-17:56:58, [FCPH-1003], 638283, SLOT 2 | FID 128, WARNING, FAB2, Logging out new port 10/19 with same Port WWN [50:05:07:60:44:5c:af:09] as old port 10/18[pid:68d240] due to duplicate Port WWN detection policy.
