Why is vol0 showing high number of IOPS?

Answer

  • Internal ONTAP processes cause high IOPS on vol0.
  • It is considered normal behavior.

Additional Information

  • It is usually safe to ignore in most circumstances. This should have no performance impact to user workloads.
